The scene opens up to a view of the Kindred Hospital, located in the city of Los Angeles. We see several vehicles leaving and entering the area, including one in particular. A 2022 Mercedes-Benz pulled into an empty spot in the parking lot. The engine turned off. It was unclear who was inside due to the tinted windows, then a few minutes went by, and the person got out of the driver's side, and we would find out that the identity of this person belonged to Lexi Gold. She had on an off the shoulder sequin body-con dress and matching heels as she attempted to make her way out of the parking lot and wanted to be where the main part of the building was. The sliding doors opened, and she went inside, then scanned the place. It was busier than she imagined it would be, so she went to find an empty seat in a corner somewhere, as people were in and out constantly. The reason for being there was because she wanted to experience the feel of the place again when she had her blood transfusion performed. So far everything remained the same as she remembered. There was a television set up in the lobby and of course some random talk show was airing. Borefest. Despite that, she still decided to watch it to kill time.[\i]
Somehow, some way, she must have dozed off from it.She sneezed. That was enough to wake her up, and she looked around her, realizing she was no longer in that same chair she was sitting in, but rather laid out in a hospital bed dressed in an ugly hospital gown with various wires attached to her. She was confused. How did she land up in this room? She thought to herself. Just as she tried to comprehend what was going on, the sound of the door was heard opening. She turned her head and noticed her sister Leslie walking with a smile, then dragged a chair next to her bed and sat down on it. As if seeing her didn't raise more questions.
Lexi: “Les, what are you doing here?”
Leslie: “Am I not allowed to visit you anymore?”
Lexi attempted to get out of the bed, but forgot the wires prevented her from doing so, she sat up, and hopefully, she could rely on her sister for the answers she was desperately seeking.
Lexi: “That's not what I mean. I meant to ask why either one of us is here in this room? I recall sitting in the lobby, dozed off, and somehow I landed here. It's strange how this came to be.”
Leslie chuckled, finding humor in her words as she took a sip of water.
Leslie: “Girl, I don't know what you are smoking, but did you forget that you are going into surgery in a few days.”
Lexi: “Surgery for what?”
Leslie: “Your blood transfusion. It's a big thing. I don't see how you could've forgotten about it so quickly.”
Lexi scratches the side of her head. After hearing of this news, she was more confused. Nothing made sense. Perhaps if she went home this whole thing would disappear and life would be back to normal as she tried to remove the wires from her arm. Leslie watched on in horror and screamed.
Leslie: “Stop it, Lexi! Leave the wires alone and just relax, will you? How about I get you some more water? Would that help?”
Lexi: “No, just get me the hell out of here! I am not supposed to have surgery. I already had it done years ago. This is all a big misunderstanding.”
Lexi anger showed as she kicked one of the patient monitors down, and it crashed onto the floor, then free herself from the wires and walked out of the room and walked down the hallway while still dressed in her gown and socks. She breezed through the other semi empty rooms, but kept looking back every so often. She noticed her nurse calling out to her, not paying attention to what was in front of her, but kept running instead. Eventually when she did focus on what was in front of her she ran face-first into a door, and fell down, then the scene switched back to the lobby again, still in her chair as she woke up. No longer in her hospital clothes, but rather in her normal clothes instead. She looked around. Everything seemed normal again. “Was it a dream then?” She muttered to herself before getting up out of her seat and heading for the exit. Going home and lying in the comfort of her bed is the ideal plan right now.
“I hear these words echoing repeatedly daily in my head, whether it's from my friends, or co-workers. Rather than looking at the situation from a positive point of view, they choose to paint it in a negative light. I understand they might be saying all this because they are concerned over me, but I know what I'm walking into and if it is Hell then I'm walking into it with a smile on my damn face.”
Her heart raced out her chest thinking about what she just said as she took a moment to catch her breath before speaking again
“I'm not entering hell with a newcomer, no, no, I'm dealing with someone who has held multiple championships in various promotions. On top of that, he's a machine that doesn't know how to shut off. While I can applaud Larry's accomplishments and consider them admirable, there is not an imitation factor. Knowing who and what I'm up against fuels my fire.”
“The difference between this match and some of the others on the card is there is no bad blood between us. There is however history and a gain of respect toward one another. Larry, you saved my life when you offered to donate your blood once upon a time, and I'll repay you by bringing the best version of me into this match.”
She looks down at her hands, thinking about how much she has evolved over the years and how much she will continue to do so as long as she doesn't allow herself to give up no matter how many times she falls. This can apply to their steel cage match.
“Winning this match would be a huge deal for me and for that to happen I need to dig deep, gather everything that I ever learned over the years and apply it to this match even if it means my body won't thank me later.”[/color]
She steps closer to the camera with a serious expression on her face.
“Now, I won't discredit Larry's abilities in every ring. I had the honor to catch a lot of his matches, and I'm sure others will agree when I say this, but the guy never fails to shine and is a down right immortal human being. We may be friends, but when that bell rings, I understand it's all business and our friendship gets put aside.I don't believe the steel structure that will surround us will hold up much considering the magnitude of this match. However, through it all whether I am bearing a crimson mask, lipping around, or struggling to breathe I will not only survive, but have my hand raised, then when the dust has settled my name and the impact I left behind will be remembered for months. If I'm lucky enough, perhaps even years...”
She sat quietly, letting all her words soak in before getting up to leave as the scene fades.

“You are risking a potential injury happening.”
“Your problem is you put your trust in people too easily… what if Larry doesn't stay true to his word and calls for backup.”
