The scene opens with "The GOAT" Serena Riot at home, putting her makeup on. Well, not her, atleast. Instead it's her son Jack. He's 7 years old. She had him through artificial insemination. He's smiling. Man does she love that smile. Every time he talks and everytime he laughs it makes her heart so whole. He's painting her signature facepaint of white with a black outline. Inaudibly, we hear them having a conversation which leads to Serena laughing. Jack has a mohawk by the way. It's awesome.
The shot gets a little closer to both of them, as we also see Jordan Majors, Serenas fiancee standing in the doorway smiling, before turning to leave. Life just seems…Perfect.
"Mom, I'm excited for you! Wrestling in Hawaii again! That's great!" Jack exclaims as he puts on some finishing touches. "Have you seen Titanic, though?"
"JACK!"...Serena exclaims, realizing his name just happens to be that of the main character. They both smirk as Serena tells her son to take a hike so she can address the camera by herself.
"I have had a very interesting life. My life story has been documented probably more than what I would have wanted it to. But the beauty of this world, the one true thing that I've noticed is…Beyond all the mistakes we make…Sometimes when you fall, you need others to pick you up. Sometimes when other people act like straight up dicks it's your responsibility to stand up and punch the bastards in the face. There's a lot, and I mean a lot of things that I've had to tolerate. I was incarcerated. I was a druggie. But this past year has been beyond insane."
"Hell, probably my craziest to date: I started this year as a Heavyweight Champion. I wrestled for my main man Denzel Porter in Vegas. Just recently I started Riot Gear Apparel, my own company. And of course, I got engaged. It's a far cry from where I was even 10 years ago. Rags to riches? Maybe. But the beautiful thing about it is that I've never considered myself to be anything more than just, well…Average."
We hear Jack running across the room, playing with Jordan Majors in the other room, although both are off camera. It puts a smile on Serena's face while she moves her hair behind her ear.
"Have you ever just felt like there was something in your life that was missing? That frankly you never thought you ever needed? It's strange. For me? The one thing I always thought I needed were the streets of Cleveland at 2am with my headphones on, getting lit and taggin' some trains. For me that was life. We'd all party. Chill out. some would freestyle. Others would take some hits. It was a good time."
"But the problem I always had was…I used it as a shield. And at the time I definitely didn't know it. But slowly, and I mean very slowly…That shield came down. It came down 7 years ago. When a mohawked brat came into my life. Then my world got flipped upside down. Instead of being at the train tracks at 2am, I was at home changing diapers. Instead of doing graffiti on the side of a building, I was decorating a nursery. Instead of drinking til I passed out, I had coffee to perk me up."
She smiles.
"Then it changed again. I met a certain blonde-haired cutie with a booty. And Jack took to her like the Robin to his Batman. Everywhere she went, he followed. And vice versa. The two are completely attached. And somehow I'm the third wheel! How is that possible? Like it's supposed to be 3 Muskateers, not 2 Badass and a Serena. But I don't care too much. What do I care about? The day after my match in Wakiki. I'm taking a separate plane and getting married the very next day to that girl. My life is complete."
"Or is it?"
She begins to ponder on what exactly could make it better. She raises an eyebrow and pretends to rub a beard.
"Now, you see. I'm a very, very charitable gal. My own charity show, Be The Fight, is coming up. And like this show, it's the second year. My theme for this year is "Love Wins" and the money we raise goes to GLSEN. A charity raising awareness to the LGBTQ+ youth. So naturally, I have to link up with Tara. She asked me to do this show. And what was I going to do? Say no? Absolutely not!"
She smiles once more.
"Instead, I'm literally going out of my way to be here. I'm going to be in England just 2 days prior, doing the show and then going right back. But I'd do it all over again…Also, Hawaii. The place where my career started. Where I trained to become who I am today. And so this whole thing goes full circle. I gotta' stop at Hula Grill too..I'm a vegan now so that should be fun. Anyway, this show is double special to me."
"And I face off against Nathaniel Dixon. Dude. Like how in the Hell have we not squared up before? I feel like we should have…Or maybe I've been put through enough light tubes that I can't remember. God, they always hurt more when you fall straight back. Anyway, me and you ain't much alike."
"No, you see you're busy doing stuff for Splat. Not knocking you, that's great. You're…Hell you're the definition of success. And I couldn't be happier for you. I wish I was in as much high demand as what you are. But then again, I think about something. And that's the fact that we have two totally different successful lifes."
Jack then makes farting noises off camera as we also see a quick shot of Jordan Majors chasing him all around the background before they leave.
"You're a success. Period, point blank. And I give you all the credit in the world. Because at one point, I thought my success was built around being a major player in pro wrestling. Maybe we're just at two different stages in our lives. I'm looking at a future with an amazing wife, a badass son…And most importantly a stress-free one. I'm going to hit Psychosis on you and it's going to be something of a sight to see. Because once I do and it lands…Well, there's a reason why it's called Psychosis. It's because after you land from the piledriver, your face is going to melt off your body!...Okay, maybe not but it's not going to be pretty. And I'm sorry if I ruin any of your upcoming appearances by doing it. But it's purely business. And I'm doing it for a good cause."
"So my advice to you is simple…Bring your A Game…But also? Don't expect me to quit. Because if there's one thing I never am. It's a quitter. I used to be. But now I'm the best version of myself. I'm in the best shape mentally and physically. And you're going to have a damn hard time taking me down pumpkin. So me. You. Wakiki. The weather's pretty hot. But it's so amazingly beautiful there. And I'm going to make that hot day even hotter than Hell when I leave you dazed and confused."
'Ill be representing 4Ocean. A charity that aids in rescuing innocent sea animals from debris. But I'll also be fighting for every single person who felt they weren't good enough. Every single person needed an ass kicker to motivate them. Because homie? Momma's gonna kick your ass so bad you're gonna wish you didn't sign up!"
"Tick. Tock."
