- Angled matches MUST be announced to me at time of booking! If not, the match will be removed. By booking an angled match you are agreeing to forfeit the money that would have otherwise been awarded to a separate to-be-announced competition for the event; you can still get some publicity toward your selected charity.
- The staff is the staff! There will be no use of your own commentators, referees, or even ring announcer; you will use the TFCE staff if writing your match. I will be reviewing the matches submitted and if you do not comply with this simple request, your match will be bumped.
- If you wish to have a title match from your e-fed, your admins and staff members are permitted to decide the match, but I must also get a say. It’s my money I’m putting up, so I should have a say.
Any TFCE staff that also has a match may not decide their own matches! This is a given. This does include me!
- Since I do try to get multiple people to decide matches, you may veto one of the judges if you feel uncomfortable with them deciding your match because maybe you and them don’t get along and you don’t feel they’ll be impartial. I cannot be vetoed.
- Segments are encouraged but please be mindful! There should be zero mention of illegal activities that would get your character arrested. Whether on-screen or not!
- You can come to me with your desired match, or you may sign up to be randomly booked!
- The RP limit will be 4000! You may NOT go above that, but you and your opponent may agree to lessen it.
- I will be booking a grand total of SIXTEEN matches; we will welcome more matches to take place. Night one: Rumble/Battle Royal; fifteen matches beyond that.
— HOWEVER, the matches that are there as a bonus are NOT going to receive money toward charities from me. I am not looking to bankrupt myself. You MAY find someone to fund your match; example, I’ve already said that I can’t…but say Denzel Porter offers to put his money up for your charity; then it would be eligible to be rated and graded as a standard match.
— Beyond that, if you are unable to find someone to fund your match, it is the responsibility of the handlers/bookers involved to cover match writing, and ensure that it is turned in ON TIME. If the match is not on time, then the show will air without the match.
- You can compete on multiple nights! Selected to be on a team for the main event? Your character can participate in that as well as have another match. There will be no regulation against that this year. A character has a chance to be part of THREE matches in this regard; Rumble, Match, Main Event, if selected. Team Captains may also seek another match!
Grading criteria:
Content - Did you follow a story that is leading up to your match? How was your shoot? Do not repeat yourself (unintentionally)!
Flow - How well did your RP flow from section to section, shoot to shoot, etc.?
Maintaining Character - We are looking at gimmicks and personalities of characters…did you follow your designed gimmick? Or did you do something uncharacteristic?
Interest - Did you capture our attention?
Spelling/Grammar - Self-explanatory.
BONUS: Include Hawaii settings in your RP!
TEAM: Flow from one member to the next!
Judges will give a score of 1-5, and that will be multiplied by 5 to give you a score of 5-100. Team matches will have a team multiplier that increases based on flow and story connectivity.
Just because the limit is 4000 does not mean you have to hit it! Quality is always over quantity, so someone at 4000 words could very well lose to someone who only wrote 1500.
The “rumble” of night one will be one RP of 1000 words! This is open to as many people want to join, and you can join with multiple characters!
