The buzzsaw screech ceases as the lights go red, lending the arena a bit of killing floor ambiance. Amid the crimson sea of humanity, a pristine white spotlight tracks up the aisle to the entryway. Regan Voorhees sits crosslegged, head bowed in prematch mediation.
A gunshot rings out and “Leader of the Pack” begins, the opening chords a signal for the Duchess’ eyes to snap open. She studies the ring with the cold calculation of an apex predator, then vaults limberly to a standing position. The crowd showers her with disapproval, aside from the Friends of Atticus in the audience who applaud both Regan’s wrestling and her dietary resolve. She pays none of them any mind as she walks to the ring, taking the time to stretch her arms and legs. Halting at the steps, Regan gives her neck an inhuman crack, before sauntering up to the ring apron.

Regan Voorhees is the product of absentee parenting and extravagant wealth(via a slaughterhouse empire). Her antisocial and nihilistic tendencies manifested at an early age, as Regan has always had some difficulty interacting with people. She has, however, always had an affinity for animals which developed into militant veganism as she got older. While she still benefits from the wealth afforded by the Voorhees Farms corporation, she is slowly working to transition them into a meatless company through extensive R&D(along with other, less savory projects), as well as raising vegan awareness through both her wrestling career and marketing. Her pet pig Atticus has essentially become a pop-culture sensation and figurehead for Regan’s brand of neo-veganism, since he’s an adorable pig who is infinitely more likable than she is.
After extensive psychological therapy was unable to curb Regan’s sociopathic tendencies, she developed a fascination with wrestling and delighted in the prospect of channeling her misanthropy toward the active destruction of other human begins in a competitive environment. Her parents approved, primarily to keep her from trying to murder anyone(During her time as a tween pet detective, Regan exploited a loophole in the Alabama legal system and got the owner of a puppy mill sent to death row). Though she was the first girl allowed on the wrestling team of the private academy she attended, she was subsequently suspended from the team after her second match, following the snapping of her opponent’s pinky.
Getting her first taste of grappling, Regan was addicted. Not wanting to complicate her training with any potential emotional attachments, Regan paid a team to compile suitable trainers with similar body types to her own. The goal was to learn technical wrestling with a dash of brawling from a wrestler of comparable size, so she could better apply their teachings. Her trainer wore a mask during instruction, so that Regan was unable to deduce her identity. This was an attempt by Regan to prepare for professional wrestling with minimal interpersonal connections so that the entirety of her focus could be on her own career, without being inconveniently tied to anyone else. The Masked Trainer was more than happy to sever all ties after her financial obligation was fulfilled and Regan completed training.
Regan made her debut at Action Wrestling’s Cruiser Havoc Rumble in December of 2020. The following year, she went on to dominate the company’s cruiserweight division, achieving three reigns as champion before closing out 2021 as the fan-voted Wrestler of the Year. Alongside Kalinda Kriegsdottir, Regan held the Uprising Tag Team Championships, and was the unrequited love of Uprising’s breakout character Intern Steve. 2022 saw her make the jump to Action's main roster, where she formed joined with "ill' Jill Park to form Affluenza. Jill's exceptional year has been a source of lingering tension between the two, with Regan overshadowed by her partner's success. The two seem to be working through it though. For now.
