You know, it's kinda funny.
Seven plus years in the mainstream of this business and this is my single "special appearance", but why now? Why after all this time? Why team up with fucking Affluenza of all people?
Well, the easy answer is the good cause.
Truth be told, I've seen what Corey Black is to this industry, but I've gotten to know the man he is as well. Coming up, that was the standard. King Corey was the multi-decade standard bearer dating back to the earliest days of WCF and someone who I looked at as my own personal bar. It was never simple envy, but rather a deep respect and appreciation for the fact that for more than twenty years, there's been a guy willing to carry the torch well past the point of personal financial security.
So..when that guy calls, I answer.
No longer just a guy above though, but an equal.
A peer.
A friend.
That's why CJ and myself are here.
Not because we have anything to prove to anybody. The accolades already say plenty for us.
The beating Page and gangs asses at Evolution and send them back to the fucking shadow realm says plenty for us.
Let's not get it twisted though, Corey wasn't the only one who asked.
