What The Hell?

”FIRED?! FIRED?! I was on a fucking roll and they fucking fire me? What the literal hell?!” The day had been good in the beginning on the Tara Fenix Charity Cruise. Ciela Luiz sat alongside her mother, Estrella, in their cabin as Estrella sipped her wine. She smirked as she looked at her daughter.
”Mi hija, this is how it works. This is what happens when you trust someone who said they aren’t accepting applications. You get a job, win a few matches and then are set aside for the old guard. Trust me, I know all about that.” Estrella sipped her drink as she motioned to her other hand. ”One for you as well mi hija. You need to relax. Stress is bad for the skin plus you have more important things to focus on than OCW, like the reason we are on this cruise in the first place. Your main event match with Lycana. We both know she is no slouch. She was friends, at one point, with your Aunt Geri. She brought the worst out of Geri and now is the time to put her to rest.”
Ciela sipped her wine as she sat it down and spoke again. ”I have seen first hand in XWF what Lycana is capable of and, unlike most, I am not scared. Who is afraid of the Big Bad Wolf? Not me. I am not scared of your hexes and witchy ways. I am here to wrestle. All of that energy you exude is for show. It is a ruse and I will expose you inside the ring. I am a third generation superstar. My whole family have been champions all over the world. What do you have to show for your career of vexes and spells? One lone reign as the X-Treme Champion? No World Titles? No Tag Titles? Oh wait. You had an opportunity at Relentless. That is something you have to be in this business is relentless and you proved to not have what it takes. You proved that you can not be trusted. You let poor Betsy get pinned and you didn’t do enough to help. How does it feel to be the let down of the group Lycana? You were the one who let the Left Hand down. You let Betsy down. You are nothing but a fuck up Lycana and I will continue to expose that on the cruise.
We get all eyes on us. We get to go on after Centurion and Ashlynn Cassidy. Tara has entrusted us with the main event but, truth be told, I don’t know why she thinks you are main event material. Every time you get a major opportunity you shit the bed. You always blow harder than Atara Themis at an orgy. Fact is, you are a non factor in this match. So you and I both have dyed hair. That is where the comparisons stop. I am 18 years old and have already done more than you. I took OCW by storm. I took Maggie Lockheart to the distance in Level Up. I took Thaddeus Duke to the limit for the Hart Title. Tell me the last time you fought anyone of merit. Tick Tock, I am waiting Lycana. Them No Good Bastards? Please. They are a poor man’s Three Stooges. Had Kai Morgan not bailed on me like the bitch he is, I would have already taken the titles off of them. Had I had the opportunity already, you would not be able to walk to the ring for this matchup. You are in over your head in this matchup and you know it. You know you are not on my level. When it comes to your future, I know something you don’t know, Lycana.”
Ciela stood up and paced a bit as Estrella didn’t look up from her drink. She spoke to her daughter softly again. ”Ciela, in this business, no one is a walk in the park. Tara chose the best of the best for this cruise.”
Ciela shook her head side to side. ”Not all the best. You weren’t chosen.”
Estrella took her sunglasses off. ”I am retired Ciela. I am no longer the best of the best. I mean, sure, I could have come out of retirement and single handedly beat anyone on this cruise but I chose not to. I am staying retired. I am living through you. I am enjoying YOUR success and you should too. For someone from the future, you sure do live in the past.”
Ciela rolled her eyes and threw her hands in the air. ”This time period right now is the past to me. I have no choice but to live in the past! There is never a time I am not reminded of that. From companies forcing women to compete against one another because they are seen as lesser than men, to the terrible food. I am always reminded. Lycana is yet another reminder. She has a fully outdated style. She is predictable and that will be her downfall inside the ring.
You hear me, Lycana? You are predictable. You are not someone who is going to shock the world. I am always someone who makes it so the world has their collective jaws on the floor. This business is about hype and there is no hype around you. No one cares if you win or lose. I can be the first match or the card or the main event and the ratings are through the roof because people are intrigued and enthralled by me. Everyone wants to see me succeed. No matter how many tag partners I turn on, no matter how many reprehensible things I do, they want to see me succeed. You are a non factor, a moot point if you will. You are not someone who matters one way or the other. After I beat you, I won’t see it as a top tier win. I will see it as a win and that is it. When my hand is raised and you are looking at the lights, you will know you were in the ring with the greatest Luiz of all time.”
The scene began to fade as Ciela and Estrella sip their wine and toast to the future of the Luiz family.
Scene 2
Supernatural

The mask sat in the hand of Ciela Luiz. She smirked as she spoke. ”There is a rumor that when my mother received this mask from the death bed of her Godmother, the great Luchadora Hurican Rabiso, that the mask was haunted by the spirit of Hurican herself. My mother tried her damndest to get rid of the mask but it kept reappearing.
Hurican, I now need your help. You and I may have never met but you are one person I know can help me succeed. My mother gave me this mask and, in turn, gave me your helping hand. I play a big part but I am scared and nervous. I want to live up to the Luiz name.”
Ciela looked up as a voice is heard within a bright light. ”Ciela, my child, you are more than worthy of your name. Your mother, and her parents before her, they were my only family and you exude the same energy in that ring that they do. I am the honored one when I see you wear the mask. Put it on. Feel my energy cover you in confidence.”
Ciela, now a little spooked, put the mask on her face. She tilted her head back as she felt her pain and worry wash away. She laughed as she looked into the camera. ”The spirit of Hurican Rabiso will live on. When I wear this mask in the ring I will be guided by her spirit. I will become a Hurican myself. I will rage like the storm inside me and when Lycana sees me she will know she is stepping into the ring with something beyond her control. Something she can’t handle. Normally Lycana gives off soft dom vibes but she will submit to me and there is nothing she can do about it. It is predetermined that I win this match. I have more to fight for. I have more to prove. I have to show that I can hang with the best. Is Lycana the best? That remains to be seen but I know I have the spirit of Hurican Rabiso coursing through my veins and the blood of the Luiz family in my blood. That is a recipe for destruction as far as you are concerned Lycana. It isn’t anything personal that I chose now to unleash this power. It could have been anyone. You are simply in the wrong place at the wrong time.
Hurican Rabiso broke the gender barrier in Mexico when, in 2002, she won the World Title in Mexico Xtreme Wrestling. She opened the door for people like my mother, for women like me, to win titles previously dominated by men. She made it so women like me, my mother, Lissie Hope, Atara Themis, and even Tara Fenix herself could be taken seriously when we became champions by beating people like James Raven, Shawn Warstein, and Corey Black. We were no longer inferior, we were equal.
You all have my family to thank for that. You all have Hurican Rabiso to thank for that. You all have, by extension, me to thank for that. As Hurican Luiz hits the cruise ship, will you all sink or swim? More importantly will you sink or swim Lycana? What is your choice?”
Ciela took the mask off and looked at it in shock. She smirked evilly as the scene faded to black.
