The sun shines brightly over the beautiful calm blue sky ocean. The waves are smooth and not at all violent like the one in the movies. A massive, expensive-looking champagne white and gold yacht is seen floating on top. Sitting in the captain's seat wearing blue swim trunks and a captain's hat, Mario Vontez Porter spins around in the chair towards the camera. He smiles and shows off his clean pearly white teeth as the sun reflects off them and blinds the camera for a moment.
Well, I'm happy you all could join me as I sail to The Tara Fenix Charity Cruise and what thoughtful and beautiful ideas by her. I was thrilled to see so many people in our great industry happily volunteer to take part in this extraordinary event. You rarely see so much great talent come together on one Yacht, but why we travel on this quest we don't only seek Charity and to have a good time with our peers like it's a prom night, but soon Prom Night will quickly turn into a battle on the open seas.
So on my voyage, I'll be training when I'm in a good mood and feel like doing it; I'll still be training hard even if I'm in a bad mood and don't feel like doing it. Because that's what it takes to chase excellence and notice, I don't say perfection because my Dad has always told me perfection is a myth, but if we put in the work and long hours it takes to become a guru at your craft,, then you can obtain excellence.
He picks up what appears to be a large Cigar that could contain tobacco or some other substance that they smoked at that concert in Woodstock. He lights up this fat cigar and takes a few puffs before releasing the smoke out of his lungs and into the air in an O-Shaped form.
For some time now, I've been thinking about how I could get from under my father's shadow. It's no secret he's well-loved by many and hated by some, regardless of how people feel about him. His name draws attention, and when you have the same last name as a man like that, it can be beneficial for sure. Still, in my case, it can also be a burden—having to answer questions growing up from the media about my father's work and how I can live up to his legacy and make my own mark in life. Unable to answer those questions left me up at night and made me really think about myself. So I concluded that I must put myself in the field my father covers; I decided I too will travel down the same path many other wrestlers went down, but I'll do it my way, and it just so happens Taras Charity Cruise was the perfect opportunity for me to make my in-ring debut.
He takes some more puffs from the cigar and, as he closes his eyes, exhales the smoke. He looks off into the direction of the clear blue ocean. A bottlenose dolphin jumps out of the sea and into the air, and for a brief moment, it almost seems like time stops as the Dolphin gracefully flips in the air, and then time goes back to normal, and the Dolphin is back in the deep blue clear ocean. Mario takes one last puff, then smiles and turns back to the camera.
What a beautiful and graceful creature, so elegant in the way it carries itself—one of the most intelligent animals in the kingdom. Not to mention they show no fear as they’ve been seen to take on Sharks and win. They really are lovely creatures you must not take lightly, much like my opponent for this cruise. Victoria Strader-Knox is just like that dolphin, and I mean that in the most respectful way. She’s one of the most promising young talents in our industry. She comes from a great wrestling family, and her father, Matthew The Raven Knox, is a man my father and me highly respect, so when we agreed to do this match for the cruise, I was excited and thrilled to step into the ring with her. I couldn’t have asked for a better dance partner for The Charity Cruise, and I hope Atara excuses me as I twirl you around in the ring as all eyes watch out chemistry flow and mix together to create such a lovely display of classic wrestling.
Now, as we show off our best moves and wow the fans in attendance, both of us must know one of us has to take the pin, why the other stands tall, why the fans cheer your name. Now I will not lie, Victoria; I do want that moment to be mines so that I can feel like I belong in this business with people like you. I want that moment so my father can talk about me on his show and give me that attention he gives so many others. For so long, all I wanted was for My father to see me how he see so many of the great wrestlers in this industry, and now I got that opportunity, and I will not drop the money on my way to bank Victoria. Why this Cruise is for Charity, I will not lay down for anyone and give my win away, and I know you wouldn’t want it that way. I plan on bringing you my best and fighting heroically with my heart. Now I know only a fool would guarantee a win because the possibility of losing is always there, and I accept that because losing is not the end of the world like some people take it.
Losing builds character, it helps you identify what you need to work on, and it’s up to you to fix those mistakes and give yourself a better chance at victory next time. So the thought of losing does not scare me and will not distract me from the goal at hand. I'm coming into this match confident in my ability and the training my camp has prepared me for this match. So, Victoria Strader, I wish you a farewell until we meet at TFCC.
Mario winks and turns back into the captain's chair and steers the yacht towards his destination as the sun sets and the even goes dark.
