Once the beat drops, out steps "Cholo" Giovanni Santana looking as good as ever and flashing that million dollar smile and holding a mix drink on his hand that likely has plenty of mezcal in it. He soaks it all in, feeling not only the ocean breeze that comes through the ship, but the love from the fans. After a few more seconds he makes his way to the ring, having a few exchanges with the fans, all in good fun. He jumps up on the apron and after wiping his boots, respecting the ring, he gets inside. He walks towards the middle nodding his head to the beat of the catchy song, making his afro wave back and forth. Some of the fans get into it, specially the ladies and Cholo points and winks to some. He goes to chill in one corner, and when the ref comes over to check him, instead he hands him his drink and asks for another. The ref shakes his head not amused and he hands the drink to an official on the outside and then checks Cholo while he, and some of the fans nearby share a laugh.

BRIEF HISTORY: Gio was born and raised in El Salvador, his parents left him behind when he was very little with his grandparents as they came to America, chasing the American Dream. Once they were able to get their situation proper some years later, they brought him legally to the USA. However, he lived with them for only a couple of years because sadly they were murdered in cold blood.
Gio was taken in by his mother's brother, and wrestling manager of champions: Paco "The Drinking Time Bomb" Perez. He lived with him, graduating high school and going to college and not really getting into wrestling until after graduating college as he caught the bug working on his uncle's wrestling school.
He enjoyed being a wrestling trainer and teacher, but as he got closer to his 30th birthday his uncle pushed him to try having a career of his own as time was ticking. Gio agreed and Paco got him an entry to the prestigious 2021 Quagcup tournament. This was Gio's introduction to main stream wrestling, and from here he was going to look for a promotion to call home and start his professional career.
However something great happened, he did extremely well in the tournament, defeating all kinds of great athletes and veterans, making it to the finals, losing the match but winning a cool 5 million dollars.
Because of this, Gio decided to focus on three things:
1) His charity work, helping orphan kids both back home in El Salvador and in the US, building multiple centers and shelters.
2) His travelling and partying. Gio loves to travel and party, any time of the day, any where in the world... That's really why he's here.
3) But as far as wrestling went, because he become a millionaire, he decided not to be tied down to one fed and instead be a free agent, wrestling where and when he wants. Some of the events he's entered are the Margarita Mix, Olla Rumble, and Cannabis Cup to name a few plus this is his second time on the cruise. It was at the end of the Cannabis Cup, where he met Chris Page and after his second round match where he lost to the eventual cup winner, Chris Page walked up to Cholo and whispered some things into his ear that not only made him smile, make him appreciate the man more, but introduced him to his next adventure: The WGWF. For the first time ever Cholo has signed to a fed, and made a successful debut winning a fatal four watch match.
